MoMo is Home

I am now home after a fantastic fun- filled 4 days in Southern California with Ms. Rhonda and the rest of the crowd!  I had a blast.............!

I taught High School English, attended a staff meeting, went shopping like crazy, hugged and kissed on like a gazillion kids, and had a marvelous spa day with just some of the greatest ladies around!

Diane and Becky joined Rhonda and I for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory Friday night.  Damn, when will we ever remember that 4 of us can split one dinner???  Rhonda and I split a Filet Mignon and had Broccoli and Asperigas  Diane ordered her little burgers and Becky had Salsbury Steak.  Rhonda and I had enough steak and veggies left over that Diane and Becky could have eaten!  Next time 1 dinner split between 4 people.  I bought 5 or 6 beautiful tops, and a sexy pair of boots to go with my dress pants for the holiday season!

Saturday was a magnificent day at the spa.  I got a facial, pedicure and a massage, went into the grotto and sat in the sal****er jacuzzi.  I came out with the softest skin ever and feeling like a big puddle of mush!  Our cabanna was the bomb, our 2 c abanna boys were so excellent and on top of everything!  There were 9 of us there.....Lori, Naomi, Diane, Jean, Heather, Michele, Becky, Rhonda and MoMo.  What a terrific day.  We went back to Rhonda's house and sang Kariokee all night long.  I swear, the more wine I drank, the better I was!!!!!

This morning found me getting my stuff together and all in one place.  That was, however, AFTER the wine headeache went away.  Darn.  Becky drove me to the airport dumped me at the curb after lots of hugs and kisses on all of Rhonda's munchkins.  I'm going to miss the horde of virus carriers!!!! 

I got through security with NO problems (mainly because I packed the *$**#($&& pocket knife in my suitcase this time and not in my purse) and found my gate with no problem.  After a 20 minute wait, they started boarding. They over-booked the flight so I was very thankful I checked in via my iphone on Saturday.  They were offering $250 vouchers for anyone willling to give up their seats and take another flight tomorrow.  As tempting as it was, no can do.  Have to work tomorrow.    I got into my seat, all settled, book in lap, snacks by my side and a lady came and took the seat next to me.  She pulls out a Diet Coke and opens it and it sprays all over ME!!!!  My pants are drenched, ,my shoe soaked and there's sticky icky stuff all over my hand and arm.  I WAS PISSED!!!  But, I couldn't release (as Monica P would say) my inner Chola as the lady starts appologizing profusely.  How can you get cranky pisssed at someone who is appologizing???

I finally dried out by the time we landed.  I took my kid out to dinner and headed north.  I'm snuggly ensconced in my big easy chair in my jammies with my fuzzy blankie on listening to my very pregnant dog snoring!

I had such a fantastic time I can hardly wait til next time.  April 24 & 25 we're headed to the Stagecoach Festival in Indio.  This one's a road trip with local friends headed down to see So Cal Friends and listen to great music!

So glad you got home ok.  I think I will just remember everything from Thurs night magaritas to last night singing.  OMG, I need to practice, ALOT!!!!  It was great spending time with you.  We did have alot of fun, and gomba and I will be chatting shortly.  So glad you were able to make it down here, it was great and can't wait to see you again.

It was sad to see you go!  WE all had such a wonderful time.  WE did all my favorite things too.  WE all laughed and played and that is such a good time.  Us gals need gal pal time.  See you all soon.  WE have so much more stuff planned for the future my dears!
